Nick Carter is the CEO of The Pink Flamingo Companies and current President of Pink Flamingo Lawn Care, headquartered out of York, PA. His entrepreneurial journey began in middle school when he started a lawn care business by mowing yards in his neighborhood and got a paper route. When he got his driver’s license, he expanded the business and bought a utility trailer, servicing customers within a 15-mile radius. He continued the original lawn care business through his sophomore year in college until he joined the Army ROTC program at Penn State University’s main campus.

He earned an Economics Degree from PSU and was commissioned as a 2LT Infantry Officer in 2002. He then spent five years active duty with the 101st Airborne Division from ’02 – ’07 and deployed twice to Iraq in leadership positions.

In 2007 he received an honorable discharge from the Army. After two years of dabbling in the corporate world and realizing it wasn’t for him, he founded a janitorial/commercial cleaning company called Pro Quality Cleaning in 2009 based out of Mechanicsburg, PA, which he continues to own and run. Pro Quality Cleaning does over $5 million in annual revenue, is now headquartered out of York, PA, and continues to grow.

In 2023, he decided to diversify his businesses and founded The Pink Flamingo Companies and Pink Flamingo Lawn Care. Pink Flamingo Lawn Care and Pro Quality Cleaning are now subsidiaries of The Pink Flamingo Companies.
